Explosions occur when the atmosphere is combining air, smokes, vapors, or dusts, combustible elements which burn rapidly in the presence of a spark under atmospheric pressure.

 

Since 1999, in these areas concerned, users have had the obligation to evaluate in which class the hazardous area belongs by measuring the frequency and duration of an explosive atmosphere.

 

These explosion-proof motors are made in cast-iron.
